The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation will provide financial assistance to the families of the military servicemen who died during Naval exercises on the Caspian Sea coast in the Mangystau Oblast.
A sum of 25 million tenge will be allocated to the family of each deceased serviceman. This aid will be provided directly to the families, in addition to the state support measures already in place for the bereaved.
Bulat Utemuratov expressed his deepest condolences to the family members and close ones of the fallen servicemen.
The tragedy occurred on 24 September during a combat training exercise. Following the deaths of the servicemen, a national day of mourning was declared in Kazakhstan for 25 September.
