Astana, Kazakhstan – 25 November 2025 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan (AmCham) has presented the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation with a prestigious healthcare prize. The annual awards ceremony recognised the organisation for its highly regarded “Autisum: One World For All” program, which was praised for its ‘transformative impact’ on autism inclusion across the nation.

AmCham Awards recognise autism initiatives
The Foundation was chosen as a winner by the independent committee at the 21 November event in Astana. Their work includes being at the forefront of early diagnoses, specialist training, and the integration of children with autism.
“Autism: One World For All” provides an exceptional array and level of services to help those with ASD, and it is estimated than over 17,000 children have received support from the program. Access to psychologists, hundreds of specialists, speech therapists, and behavioural analysts is combined with recoginised, evidence-based therapy methods to deliver a set of unique, standard-setting intervetions.

The program also goes further than helping patients and their families. It has also played a crucial part in raising awareness of autism across Kazakhstan, and has also served to establish more accessible spaces for those with ASD in airports and other public spaces – ranging from Almaty to Kyzylorda.
Almaz Sharman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation, commented: “For us, this award is recognition that the topic of inclusion is becoming increasingly important to society. When we launched the Autism: One World for All program, our goal was to help children with ASD realise their potential and become part of a world that accepts and supports them. Today, we see real changes: thousands of families have found support, and society is becoming more open and understanding. This inspires us to move forward.”
The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan represents leading international and domestic companies across key economic sectors, promoting a competitive, transparent and investment-friendly business environment through advocacy, policy dialogue and collaboration with the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This is the second consecutive year the Foundation has been recognised by AmCham. In 2024, it won in the Community Service category for its broad charitable work and contribution to Kazakhstan’s social development.
